Each wintery pine cone has been made using pale stoneware clay and finished with layers of gritstone and my thistle ash glaze. They are strung with brown twine.
'Take me deep into the wintery woods
Where hope glitters freshly worn.'

My Christmas 2022 porcelain ornaments feature this festive favourite: Partridge in a Pear Tree. The pristine porcelain is highlighted with my homemade local gritstone, wood ash and nettle ash glazes. They are approx 6.5cm in diameter and strung with sustainable Devonshire wool twine.
The snowflake glaze varies between a pale frothy pink and a pale aqua blue depending on the glaze firing conditions. If you have a colour preference, please let me know when you place your order.

Left in its raw ceramic glory, the crosses are hand-stamped with the lettering Immanuel.
We celebrate the coming of the Christ-child with joy at Christmas, but in his birth, we look forward to the purpose of his coming...
His death on the cross, resurrection from the grave, and our salvation by his gift of forgiveness, love and life.
I first fell in love with ballet when in primary school, watching a recording of The Nutcracker Ballet at Christmas time. I finally attended a performance of the ballet when I was 18, and was even more enchanted by both the art and the story. These ornaments stir up these beautiful memories. Each ornament is finished with my pale thistle ash glaze. I am also able to offer a rich brown variation on special request until the end of October to allow for pre-Christmas kiln firing and posting.

Printed with a nostalgic Norse pattern, these stockings are finished with my pale green nettle ash glaze.
Printed with playful Christmas images of candy canes, presents, gingerbread men and rocking horses, these ornaments are finished with layers of iron ochre, gritstone and my nettle ash glaze.
This Christmas messenger is pressed with lace and finished with a translucent glaze.
Each ornament is made by hand and therefore unique. Though I strive to make all to high standard, please anticipate slight variations in each ornament.
